January 1, 2008 – OAKLAND, CA.
– PsPrint today announced the companys total 2007 donations to worthy local causes and groups: more than $125,000 in printing and related services and supplies. PsPrint is a leading provider of printing, mailing and design services for small and medium-size businesses and specializes in producing direct mail solutions.
Our community has shown us astonishing support so, in a sense, were just returning some of what it has given us, said Andy Comly, PsPrint Chief Executive Officer. We are extremely grateful for the businesses, schools, groups, and individuals with whom we work and live. It seems that each finds an inventive way to contribute to the communitys vibrancy and were simply thrilled we can help support their efforts.
Every organization and business can use printingthat puts us in the enviable position of being able to help just about everyone, said Dave Lessing, PsPrint Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Most of our donated services and supplies go to schools, non-profits, and other local organizations. The goodwill it generates is tremendous and I suspect many of them will use our services for a long time to come.
PsPrints 2007 donation beneficiaries included Black Expo, Think Green World Music Festival, Rita Coury Photography Breast Cancer Action, Black Dot Artists Collective, and a locally held benefit for the Nyumbani Orphanage (Kenya).
PsPrint has been a supporter of the Black Expo for several years now, states Dr. Dorothy Hamilton. Weve been able to grow the Expo and positively impact our community thanks to the support of PsPrint.
We would not have been able to promote our breast cancer tribute or raise the money we had, if not for PsPrint, said Rita Coury. We had a successful turnout and were able to raise funds for breast cancer survivors in San Francisco, thanks to PsPrint.
PsPrint was crucial to producing our recycled materials for the Think Green music festival, said John Franco. I was beginning to despair that I would not find a printer that was concerned about the environment and provided a wide variety of recycled products and soy based inks. Then I discovered PsPrint and they even helped by contributing printing projects for the event.
