Half-Fold Brochure Defined

 
A half-fold brochure–also known as a book fold 
brochure–is constructed by folding an 8.5” x 11”, 
8.5” x 14”, 11” x 17” or 11” x 25.5” sheet of paper 
once, creating two equal halves.
The half-fold brochure is popular among marketing 
professionals for the flexibility of its format.
Half-Fold Brochure Panels & Pages 

                                    
Panels are two-sided sections of the final printed brochure, and 
a half-fold brochure has two panels.

                                    
A page is one side of a brochure panel, and a half-fold brochure 
has four pages

                                    
For half-fold brochures, the inside right panel folds to the left, 
forming a cover on top.

                                    
Two pages are normally used for content, reserving the front
