Brochure Folding Options Explained

Here at PsPrint we are often asked to explain all the different brochure folding options. We have five different brochure folding options.

The half-fold brochure, also known as a book fold, features two panels, totaling four pages. The half-fold brochure is popular due to the flexibility of its format.

The tri-fold brochure, also known as the letter-fold brochure, has three panels, totaling six pages. Direct-mail brochure campaigns commonly use a tri-fold brochure.

The Z-fold brochure, also known as a zig-zag fold or fan fold, has three panels, totaling six pages. A Z-fold brochure is excellent for sharing step-by-step instructions.

The double-parallel fold brochure, also known as a parallel center brochure, features four panels, totaling eight pages. The double-parallel brochure is ideal for transactional mailings, customer reports, HR communications and more.

The right-angle half-fold brochure, also known as a French fold brochure, features four panels, totaling eight pages.
