Imagesetter is a high-resolution laser output device that takes digital design files and produces film negatives that older processes require to make the printing plates. Sometimes this is referred to as Lino, after one of the first brands of imagesetters.

Indicia is a preprinted marking located in the upper right hand corner of each piece that will be mailed via first class mail or standard mail (formerly known as"Bulk"or"Third Class"). Indicia shows payment of postage by the sender, and PsPrint indicia must be used if PsPrint is handling your mailing job. Inkjet is a method of printing images using jets that squirt minuscule drops of ionized ink onto a sheet of paper. Inkjet printers are capable of producing high quality print resolutions up to 2400 dots per inch or higher. Inkjet printing is used for a range of applications, namely for printing name, address, and barcodes on postcards and other printed pieces.

Kilobits per second or kbps for short is the speed by which DSL line can transfer files to PsPrint via the Internet. For example, a 256K DSL line transfers files to PsPrint at 256 kbps.

Our custom labels can be produced in sizes from 2†x 2†to 11.75X 17.5†on one of three paper stocks including vinyl and gloss indoor paper. Sheet stickers and wine bottle labels come in several sizes and shapes, including circles and ovals. They are both printed on a whole 12-inch by 18-inch sheet and are kiss cut into the backing for easy removal and label placement. The moisture-resistant textured cream stock on our wine labels make them ideal for premium packaging labels on bottles or even boxes.

Low res is short for low resolution, which is sometimes used in context of an image or artwork submitted by a client. Low resolution images are usually anywhere from 72 to 250 dots per inch (dpi). PsPrint recommends fixing low resolution images or artwork to ensure high level of printing quality.
